2025 AGENDA
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
After this program, participants will be able to:
1. Identify available CGM devices, demonstrate their application, and interpret software outputs, including Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP) graphs, to enhance diabetes management. (Family Medicine Expert, Scholar)
2. Apply CGM data to make informed dietary and nutritional decisions and adjust treatment plans using newer generation basal insulins to achieve optimal glycemic control. (Family Medicine Expert, Collaborator)
3. Evaluate patient suitability for CGM, consider cost and coverage factors, and address barriers to adoption, including overcoming therapeutic inertia in diabetes management. (Family Medicine Expert, Communicator)
4. Integrate advanced CGM and diabetes technologies, including smart insulin pens and apps, into clinical workflows and manage patient visits effectively to prevent data overload. (Family Medicine Expert, Leader)
